If you’re a car nut this is a must-stop! If you’re a history nut you will be blown away, the number of car manufactures and innovators in Auburn Indiana is quite amazing. Cars from the 1900s to the 1970s from manufactures that I have never heard of. We stayed overnight in the parking lot thanks to Harvest Hosts and with a visit to the museum, there is 50/30 amp power! Two amazing levels of priceless automobiles, from the horseless carriage to a newish Ford Thunderbird. My absolute favorite in the Museum is the 1931 Duesenberg Model J convertible, a massive 5450-pound car. The close second was the 1936 Cord 810 an absolutely beautiful car with spectacular lines.
Jason, you did a fantastic job photographing the cars. Some of the cars are like the cars your Grandma Dam road around in as a kid.
I like the two seat coupe the most.
