Gentleman, start your engines!  WOW is the first thing that popped into my head when we arrived at the speedway.  You have no idea how big it is until you are there.  We went on the Kiss the Bricks tour, which allowed us to jump on a bus and take a lap and then stop at the start-finish line and get out on the track.  Down on the track next to the pits, they allow you to kiss the original bricks laid in the 1900s.  The cars in the museum as spectacular, and the technology of the cars through time is amazing to see.  There is an entire wall with all the winners from the beginning, and it’s amazing to see that almost every year, the average speed gets faster and faster until we seem to hit a wall with the technology of the internal combustion engine.  We absolutely want to get back for the Indianapolis 500 or the Brickyard 500.  Too bad we missed this year’s race where history was made by Helio Castroneves winning his 4 Indy 500 win. Only 4 people in the history of the race have done it,  A.J. Foyt, Al Unser, Rick Mears, and now Helio Castroneves.
